Hey there, I’m Mia, a lifestyle and branding photographer based in the windy little town of Tehachapi, CA.

I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid, I was drawn to how a single image can make you feel seen, understood, and remembered long after the moment is gone.

That love for storytelling grew over the years. I started to see how powerful photography could be not just for preserving memories, but for helping businesses and brands connect with customers, build trust, and stay memorable. That’s when I realized marketing was the perfect path for me. I went on to study it at Fresno State, with a minor in recreation administration, and that experience has shaped how I approach both people and brands—with intention, purpose, and heart.

For me, photography is all about connection. Whether we’re capturing the heart of your brand or your family, my goal is to create images that feel real, grounded, and unmistakably you.

WHAT TO EXPECT

When you reach out, we’ll chat about what you’re dreaming up and find a date, time, and location that feels right for your session. From there, I’ll help with the little things, like what to wear and how to feel prepared, so everything feels true to you.

On your session day, just come as you are. I’ll gently guide and direct you so it feels natural, relaxed, and fun. It’s a lot like spending time with a friend who happens to bring a camera.

Two weeks later (usually sooner), your photos will land in your inbox, ready to download, share, and love.

SESSION LOCATIONS & TRAVEL

I’ll meet you wherever your story unfolds, whether that’s at home, at work, out in nature, or anywhere else you need me. All sessions include travel within 20 miles of Tehachapi, with a small per-mile fee for locations in California beyond that.

My goal is to capture the honest, unguarded moments that show your true self like those little details and genuine connections that often go unnoticed but matter the most. Together, we’ll create forever-worthy images that feel like you.

BRANDING SESSIONS

For small businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs who want to elevate their brand presence with intentional, on-brand imagery for their website, social media, and marketing materials.

I’ll take the time to understand your business, your customers, and what makes your brand unique, so every image reflects the passion and purpose behind your work. Together, we’ll create intentional, authentic visuals that help you stand out confidently in the current market, build trust with your ideal customers, and tell your story with clarity and impact.

$450

Want to extend or customize your session? Additional time can be added to any session at the hourly rates listed above to make sure we don’t miss a single moment. I’m also happy to work with you to customize your session to fit your specific needs and goals.

BOOKING & PAYMENT DETAILS

A 50% non-refundable retainer and a signed photography session agreement is required prior to your session to secure your date and time. If something unexpected comes up (weather, illness, emergencies, etc.), the retainer can be put toward one rescheduled session. Final payment is due after the close of your session. I’ll begin editing your images once the full balance is received, so your gallery can arrive without delay.

FAQs

What is your editing process?

After your session, I go through each image and carefully select the ones that reflect you the best. These are the strongest moments, the best light, the most natural expressions. I edit in a style that’s true to life, with soft tones and a timeless feel. My goal is to enhance your natural beauty, not change it, so there’s no heavy retouching, no trendy filters, and no over-editing. Just clean, polished photos that feel like you.

How long will you keep my photos?

Your full gallery will stay online and backed up for 30 days after delivery. After that, it may be removed to make space for new client work. I always recommend downloading your images right away and saving them in a few safe places, like your computer, a hard drive, or cloud storage, so you have them for many years to come.

What if I get nervous in front of the camera?

You're definitely not alone! Almost everyone feels that way at first. My job is to help you relax, have fun, and feel confident being yourself. I’ll guide you through gentle posing and natural prompts so nothing ever feels stiff or awkward. Before you know it, you’ll forget there’s even a camera there… and you might even enjoy it more than you expected.
